Dafatr started from a simple observation: shop owners in Iraq deserve tools as good as those used by retailers in Tokyo or San Francisco — but built for them, in their language, in their currency, with deep understanding of how they actually work.

The existing options were either international accounting platforms badly translated and priced in USD, brittle Excel files that break with one wrong formula, or paper notebooks that disappear with a change of owner.

Dafatr is the solution we wanted to see: a POS, accounting, installments, and inventory system, Arabic-first, working on whatever devices you already have, secure as a banking database, and at a price shop owners pay without hesitation.
